My original idea for this page was to put up one idea that I had about a movie, but now that I think about it some more
it's going to be a page for ideas in general that are good enough to put on our good friend Craig Effron's site. So if you have an
idea or you're just thinking of something then drop me a line. Speaking of drop me a line, can one say She dropped me like I was hot?
I'd have to ask Paris about that. Moving forward, my idea is quite simple. It's just an idea mind you, I don't have any details
worked out or anything like that, just an idea.
Here goes:
There are plenty of movies about aliens invading earth. Speilberg just did a remake on War of the Worlds, Independance Day was
definately a big one and of course there are movies like Predator and Aliens. What do all these movies have in common, aside form the obvious
that aliens come down and attack? The commonality on all these movies is that all aliens, all things not from our solar
system are more advanced or stronger. In the case of Predator, both. In Independance Day, they were certainly more advanced, but not
necessarily stronger; same with War of the World. The reason this is, (most probably) is that we've been advanced for only 100 years or so which
means chances are if there exists another life form they've been around for longer and advancing their technology over a longer period of time, hence
more advanced. But, what if we were around longer than any other life form? What if we were the advanced ones? My proposal is simple. We find another
life form in space. We get paranoid (you know how the defense department gets) and decide to kill them before they kill us.
We invade another planet and see how it looks from the other side.
